Introducing the “Limited Shigeru Suzuki Stratocaster,” a limited-edition, “Made in Japan” signature model packed with Shigeru Suzuki’s signature touches!
Guitarist Shigeru Suzuki continues to exert a profound influence on the Japanese music scene through his work with the legendary rock band Happy End and his solo album *BAND WAGON*, among other projects.

The “Limited Shigeru Suzuki Stratocaster” is a signature model faithfully recreated in Japan based on the 1962 Stratocaster he has cherished for many years.

The trademark Fiesta Red color features a Desert Sand undercoat, just like the original, to recreate the exact shade the guitar had when Suzuki first acquired it. A nitrocellulose lacquer topcoat is applied with the absolute minimum number of coats, resulting in a finish that allows you to enjoy natural patina over time.

To achieve the “rich bass” that Mr. Suzuki himself sought, the pickups were developed after prototyping and testing numerous samples; they feature a special-spec single-coil design with approximately 20% more windings than standard models.

The pots use 500kΩ units to prevent high-frequency loss and are equipped with vintage SPRAGUE “BLACK BEAUTY” capacitors.

The neck was profiled based on his actual instrument and reproduced down to the finest detail with playability in mind.

The fingerboard is made of carefully selected rosewood, and—in accordance with the artist’s strong preference—the body is crafted from alder to closely match the weight of the original.

As proof of its limited-edition status, the guitar comes with a special neck plate engraved with the artist’s signature and serial number, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
