Additionally, the Modern Eagle V features 22 frets, a 25-inch scale, a maple top, a mahogany back, a patterned mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, a bone nut, and a PRS Gen III tremolo.

Also in 2024, PRS Guitars updated the tuning pegs used on many Core models to enhance sound quality.

Designed with the motif of the bird inlay spreading its wings at the 12th fret, the new wing-shaped buttons are lighter than the previous metal peg buttons, minimizing string vibration loss while producing longer sustain and a more musical tone.
