Poland is a musical instrument producing country that has been rapidly expanding its market share in the Japanese market in recent years, such as Mayones and Zakrzewski.
This is a long-awaited arrival from such Polish brand "Maruszczyk (Marusztek)"!

Among Maruszczyk's many models, this is the Elwood L5A model with an active circuit on the Elwood 5-string, which is a development of the JB type.

The body top is made of Eye Poplar, which has been used in many high-end guitars and basses in recent years due to its unique graininess and relatively low price, and is finished in "Transparent White" color, which allows you to see the graininess through the body!
The headstock is made of Flame Maple with linear grains on the fingerboard and the matching headstock specification is the same as the body, giving it a unified look!
The lightweight Elwood L has a small headstock to prevent the head from falling off, and the 3:2 peg arrangement that accompanies the headstock gives it a unique tension feel, which is one of the characteristics of the Marshtec.

The hard Rock Maple neck has a carbon rod embedded in it to enhance the stability of the neck during seasonal changes, and the position marks on the side of the neck are made of luminescent Luminlay, which is highly visible even when the stage is dark.
The use of the zero fret, which is separate from the nut, minimizes the difference in sound between open strings and pressed strings, which is a small but very important point.

The pickups are Nordstrand's BS5, which is used by many high-end bass makers.
The preamp is equipped with a Darkglass Tone Capsule 3-band EQ preamp, which allows you to create a wide range of sounds, from aggressive sounds with the Hi Mid boosted and Mid cut to mellow sounds with the Hi Mid turned down, while utilizing the crisp and clear sound of the original instrument. A wide range of sound makeup is possible, including mellow sounds with the Hi Mid turned down.
