The L-00, Gibson's prewar small-body acoustic guitar, was discontinued in 1946, but was revived in the 1990s. It was once named "Blues King". This 2001 model is characterized by its deep-bodied body. The logo on the headstock is silk-screened in prewar-style white, but the pegs are equipped with modern Grover rotomatic type pegs, making it a hybrid design.
There are scattered dents, scratches, abrasions, and paint clouding on the surface of the paint, but there is no significant damage. The neck is in fair condition, and the truss rod has been confirmed to be 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together and are not dented, and approximately 80% of the height remains. Both playability and sound are perfect.
The resonance is rich due to the deep body, and the volume and reverb are very good, even for a small body. The small-bodied Gibson acoustic may have an image of blues fingerpicking, but this is one that can be used for a wide range of applications.

「豊かなレゾナンス！深胴ボディのL-00！」

戦前のギブソンのスモール・ボディ・アコースティック・ギターの代表格、L-00。1946年に生産が一旦中止されますが1990年代に復活。一時はブルース・キングと名付けられていたこともあります。この2001年製は深胴のボディを持っているのが特徴。ヘッドストックのロゴは戦前風の白のシルクスクリーンですが、ペグは現代的なグローバーのロトマティック・タイプが装備されており、ハイブリッドなデザインとなっています。
打痕、塗膜表面上の弾き傷、引っ掻き傷、擦り傷、塗膜の曇りが散見されますが、著しく目立つダメージはありません。ネックの状態は適正で、トラス・ロッドは左右60度の動作確認済です。フレットは擦り合わせ済で凹みはなく、高さは8割前後残っています。演奏性、サウンドともに申し分ありません。
深胴だけあって豊かなレゾナンスで、スモール・ボディらしからぬボリュームとリバーブ感があります。スモール・ボディのギブソン・アコースティックというとブルースの指弾きのイメージがあるかもしれませんが、こちらは幅広くお使いいただける一本です。
