2013 FenderCustomShop/Michael Landau 1963 Relic Stratocaster Fiesta Red over 3-Tone Sunburst is now in stock!

Michael Landau has been active as a studio musician for various artists such as James Taylor and B.B. King since the early 1980s.
Michael Landau's signature model 1963 Stratocaster is now in stock!

The guitar features a carefully selected alder body, maple neck, and 7.25R rounded rose fingerboard.
The neck shape is Landau '63 Custom "C" Shape with asymmetrical grip, slightly thinner and flatter on the first string side, and is a Michael Landau signature specification.
The fretboard is equipped with 21 narrow-tall frets, and the neck is designed for stress-free chord playing with a tight grip as well as technical playing.

The body color is "Fiesta Red over 3-Tone Sunburst," a unique Custom Shop look that has been reproduced to the point where the Festa Red paint has peeled off to reveal the sunburst underneath in multiple layers.
The back of the neck and even the back of the body have been heavily reliced to faithfully reproduce the look of a vintage Strat that has been played a great deal.

Three "Custom Shop Fat '50s Single-Coil Strat" hand-wound pickups by Josefina Campos, which have been installed in many artist models and master-built models, are mounted on the PU.
The result is a wonderful sound that combines a rising attack and extended sustain.
The controls are a 5-way switch with master volume, front/center tone, and rear tone, which is common wiring today.
The controls are a 5-way switch with master volume, front/center tone, and rear tone, which is common wiring today.

The condition of the guitar has been aged, so the details of the scratches and dents are unknown, but there are no major noticeable scratches or dents that may have appeared later.
One screw on the bridge saddle has been replaced. Also, there are signs that the wiring area has been touched.
Although some parts have been replaced, the instrument is in good condition and there are no problems with the playing surface.

This is a rare signature model of Michael Landau, who has participated in sessions with many famous artists.
This model is not only for fans, but also recommended for various people because of its excellent appearance and playability.
We hope you will take this opportunity to consider it!
