Martin/D-28 1979 is now in stock in used condition.

The D-28 is a great classic that Martin is proud of.
Among the D-28s, the 1970s D-28s have a core and powerful sound, and have gained a certain amount of support.
The D-28 we have just received is a 1979 model, the last of the D-28s.
The serial number 419052 indicates that this is the model year.

The body is made of solid spruce top and Indian rosewood side back.
Mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard.
Non-scalloped X-bracing and down belly bridge specifications can be seen.
This is the period of the so-called SQ (square) rod, and the neck cannot be modified later.

The sound of this guitar is very vintage Martin style, rich sound, and bass that hits you in the stomach.

The condition of this guitar has some dents, scratches, and dull metal parts, and it has a feeling of age and use commensurate with its age.
The body, neck, and head are all covered in weather checks.
There is a slight bulge below the top bridge. The neck is slightly bent forward, and there is no high rise.
The frets have been replaced and there is approximately 70% remaining. The string height is 2.6mm on the 6th string and 2.1mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret.
There is a mark where a strap pin was applied on the side of the body near the joint. L.R.Baggs Element Active System VTS pickups have been retrofitted.
There are no electrical problems and the output is good. The pickguard is not original and was made separately.
The guitar comes with a non-original gig case.
