With its Lyrachord round (bowl) back and distinctive epaulet soundhole, the “Ovation Elite” is truly an iconic guitar.

This brand, which continues to attract attention and be rediscovered—again (or is it the third time!?)—can truly be called the epitome of a one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable brand.
A U.S.-made Elite with a solid top has arrived in player’s condition.

Top warping—a common issue with solid-top guitars featuring quintet bracing (five main braces arranged in a fan pattern)—is also evident on this particular instrument.
There are traces of repair work for a “crack” extending from the bridge to the lower end of the top. (6 internal patches)
The neck has slight waviness and twisting, but there is no muffled sound or buzzing.
* There is no room left to tighten the truss rod.
Overall, there are no issues with playing this guitar in a standard style as-is.
