We have received a used TAKAMINE L-4-120 in stock.

Based in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, Takamine has been crafting high-quality acoustic guitars for many years. This model, the “L-4-120,” is a striking instrument featuring premium woods and elegant decorative details throughout.

Key specifications include a Hawaiian koa top, Hawaiian koa sides and back, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. The back features an arched back design with a three-dimensional curve, which further accentuates the beauty of the flame grain.

As for its condition, there are numerous dents, scratches, and scuffs, as well as tarnish, rust, and clouding on the metal parts; overall, it shows significant signs of aging and wear.

There is slight swelling visible beneath the bridge on the top.

The neck is slightly bowing forward, with a slight tendency toward warping and twisting. The truss rod is currently turned all the way loose.

Due to the bulge in the top and the condition of the neck, the string action at the 12th fret is approximately 3.0 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.3 mm on the 1st string side.

We have leveled the frets in-house; there are no significant irregularities, and they are currently at a playable height. Approximately 70% of the frets’ original material remains. The tuning pegs are slightly stiff.

Regarding the electronics, slight noise may occur during use. Please note that the instrument will be sold “as is,” and the electronics are not covered by the warranty.

The original hard case is included.
