Built in Corona, California, the short-scale American Performer Mustang Bass offers the authentic tone and feel of a USA-made Fender, and is equipped with special split-coil pickups reproduced from 70s-era drawings. The bass features performance-inspired modern specs throughout, including a special split-coil pickup reproduced from 70s-era drawings. This model features a Yosemite(TM) split-coil Mustang Bass middle pickup for rich, expressive tone and a Yosemite single-coil Jazz Bass rear pickup, both specially developed for the American Performer series. Yosemite(TM) split coil Mustang Bass middle pickup and Yosemite single coil Jazz Bass rear pickup.
Original soft case and certificate of authenticity included.

Manufacturer's Comments
The Yosemite (TM) pickups are staggered with an unbeveled polepiece for high output, and the pickups are potted with a shellac solution for a dynamic sound with minimal feedback.
The American Performer Mustang Bass also features a Greasebucket(TM) tone circuit that simultaneously attenuates the low frequencies when the tone is turned down, preventing muddy tones.
The Modern C-shape neck with 9.5" radius fingerboard has 19 medium jumbo frets for comfortable playability and expressive performance.
