This is a Japanese-made Epiphone Casino from the Orange Label era, manufactured by Terada Gakki, with the 5-digit serial number “85146” on the label. Casinos from this period are highly regarded and stand apart from the later Korean- and Chinese-made models.

The greatest appeal of this Casino lies in its “lightness” and “natural resonance”—qualities not found in current Chinese-made models or later Korean-made versions. Weighing 2.95 kg, it is an ideal weight for a fully hollow-body Casino.
