Poland is a country that has been rapidly expanding its share of the Japanese market over the past few years, producing instruments such as Mayones and Zakrzewski. The long-awaited arrival of the Ikebukuro shop-ordered JB type basses from the Polish brand "Maruszczyk"! While based on a traditional shape, this bass is packed with original elements. Laminated ash was selected for the top of the body, which makes full use of the grain of the wood. The clear coating, which is so clear that the unevenness of the wood grain can be seen when touching it with the hand, does not interfere with the sound of the body despite the poly coating. The chambered back is made of the same ash as the top, giving it a tight and bouncy sound similar to Fender guitars from the 1970s. The neck is made of hard rock maple with a 45mm nut. The lightweight Elwood L has a small head to prevent the head from falling off, and the 3:2 peg arrangement that accompanies this spec gives it a unique tension feel, which is one of the characteristics of the Marshtec. In addition, a hipshot string retainer has been added by order from our store to add just the right amount of tension! The relatively flat 14 radius fingerboard is made of maple. We chose a simple, practical, and reasonably priced specification with no upcharge. The pickups are Haeussel Bass Bar humbuckers with ebony wood covers. The volume knob can be pushed/pulled for coil tapping, embodying the "easy-to-use Jazz Bass with 24 frets" concept. The preamp is a 3-band EQ without any peculiarities, and the Agural OBP3 is used at 18V by default. This allows for low-noise sound making with a high power feel.
