USED Ovation / USA P778-TN Tangerine Ovation [1999]

This is an Ovation USA "Custom Shop Parlor Collection" slender parlor type P778.

This limited production model was produced in 1999-2000 as a joint project between Ovation and Nakao Trading, the distributor at that time. It has a small but mid-depth body, Sitka spruce top, soft V-neck, Rose fretboard, OP-X PU system, and gold hardware.

This parlor-size model has an easy-to-hold form while maintaining the same sound character, and even though it is a small body, it has plenty of raw sound.

There are some signs of use (scratches on the top of the body, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, fogging of metal parts, etc.).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, fret adjustment, shimming (0.5mm), and string height adjustment) upon arrival. The truss rod is almost at its limit in the tightening direction. The neck condition is currently fine.
