Models made of high-pressure laminate!

Martin produces models using HPL (high pressure laminate), which is made from waste and scrap lumber from the viewpoint of forest conservation.
It is mainly used in Mexico, but this model was produced at the Nazareth factory in USA at that time.

Made in Nazareth factory, USA
The body is all HPL, with spruce pattern on the top and mahogany pattern on the side/back.
The top has X bracing, approximately 42mm nut width, and 25.4" long scale.
Frets are low due to rubbing. * About 50-60%.
The truss rod has been checked to 50 degrees left and right. (Not much left).

The top of the body (lower part of the bridge) has a bulge and the bridge is tilted, probably due to the original specification without a tone brace.
There is a repair mark near the 14th fret on the fingerboard.
There is a scratch on the top of the body (near the 14th fret joint).
There is a mark on the lower part of the Body Back, which is probably caused by the production process.
The back of the neck is slightly shiny and has some minor scratches from playing.

Even though it is an HPL specification, it is indeed a Martin!
The sound is delicate, clear, and superb!

ハイプレッシャーラミネート材を使用したモデル！

マーティンは森林保護の観点から廃材・端材を利用したHPL(ハイプレッシャー・ラミネート)を使用したモデルを生産しています。
主にメキシコ製で使用されていますが、こちらは当時USAのナザレス工場で生産されていたモデルです。

USA、ナザレス工場製
ボディはオールHPLで、Topがスプルース柄、Side/Backがマホガニー柄を装っています。
TopにはXブレーシングを採用し、約42mmナット幅、25.4"ロングスケールを採用。
フレットは擦り合わせのため低めになっています。* 5-6割程度
トラスロッドは左右50度まで確認済みにて現状問題ありません。(残り少なめ)

トーンブレースが元々ない仕様のためか、Body Top(ブリッジ下部)に膨らみ生じており、ブリッジに傾斜ができています。
指板14フレット付近に修理跡があります。
Body Top(14フレットジョイント脇付近)に擦れ跡(傷)があります。
Body Back下部になにかの付着跡がありますが、おそらく生産時の工程上においてのものと思われます。
Neck裏に弾き込みによる若干の艶、細かな傷が散在しています。
使用感はございますが、プレイアビリティは良好です！

HPL仕様とはいえ、さすがはマーティン！
繊細で、クリアなサウンドが秀逸です！
