USED Fender Japan / AST-M/DS BLK [3.19kg / 2006-2008]

This is Fender Japan's medium scale model Aerodyne Stratocaster AST-M/DS with DiMaggio Collection PU.

The Aerodyne Stratocaster AST-M/DS features a flowing arched body top reminiscent of an aircraft. Bound basswood body with heel cut at the joint, satin-finished maple neck with rose fingerboard, body-colored matching head, DiMarzio DCS-3x3 PU, and bridge mounted one step lower on the body.

The medium scale for good fit and high playability, the comfortable tone of the DiMarzio Full Renge Impact PUs, and the ease of use and looks make this a useful instrument not only for live performances but also for recording.

Pickguard screws have been replaced with black. The exterior shows signs of use (color fading, dents and scratches on the outer edge, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, cracks at the screw holes on the back panel, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages). The inside of the soft case shows signs of use/tears.

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, truss rod adjustment, string replacement, string height adjustment, octave adjustment, nut groove adjustment, fret rubbing, pot replacement) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play well, and the truss rod can be adjusted to ±60 degrees in both tightening and loosening directions. The truss rod can be tightened and loosened up to +/- 60 degrees.
