USED Epiphone / LPJ-70 Heritage Cherry [3.76 kg / Manufactured in 1999]

This is an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. LPJ-70, Made in Japan (Terada Gakki), manufactured in 1999.

The Epiphone LPJ-70 is a direct successor to the Les Paul Jr. model LPJ-70, which was produced for the Japanese market under an official license from Gibson and named after the company’s founder, Orville Gibson.

It features a 3-piece mahogany body, a thick mahogany neck, and original P-90 “Dog Ear” pickups (made in Japan) in a single-cutaway configuration.

With its Gibson-style headstock shape and “Les Paul MODEL” inscription on the headstock—features that give it an authentic, officially endorsed look—this was a highly popular model, and many are still searching for one.

Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches, scuffs, wear, wipe marks, paint unevenness at the wood joints, picking marks, buckle marks, string marks on the bridge, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts, etc.).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, and fretting surface leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; its operation has been verified up to ±60°.
