This is a medium gain overdrive pedal that took more than a year of development to create a new overdrive sound with Char, a leading Japanese rock guitarist and a guitarist whom many follower guitarists admire, aim for, and respect. To evolve a new drive sound based on the famous drive pedal, we examined Char's own guitars, amplifiers, and other equipment from previous generations for more than a year. In addition to the main controls, the pedal is equipped with a SAT trimmer that allows adjustment of the saturation-like sound range produced by the power tubes of a vacuum tube amplifier, and an on/off switch for the input buffer circuit.
There are some minor scratches, but there are no operational problems.
