Fender Custom Shop 60 Stratocaster made in 1997
1997 Fender Custom Shop 60 Stratocaster with slab rosewood fingerboard and lacquer finish, carefully reproducing the specifications of the 1960s.
The greatest feature of this model is the superb bird's eye maple used for the neck material. This is a special piece that has been carefully selected, with a three-dimensional grain pattern reminiscent of flamed and quilted wood, and is a finish that could only come from an instrument from the Custom Shop era, when they were particularly particular about the selection of wood.
The combination of the 3-tone sunburst alder body is exquisite, achieving a high-dimensional balance in terms of looks, sound, and playability. The vintage-style narrow frets and 9.5" radius fingerboard give it a classical playing feel.
This is a rare Custom Shop made instrument from the late 1990s. This is one of the rarest and most collectible pieces with a neck material as good as this.
There are scratches, dents, and paint peeling, and overall, the guitar has a lot of signs of use, but it gives the impression that it has been well used.
The parts are also tarnished, giving the appearance of age.
The pickguard has been replaced, and no original parts are included. The nut and pot have been replaced, but those original parts are included.
The inside of the cavity has been repaired with conductive paint to maintain playability and sound stability.
The neck is in good condition and there are no problems with playing condition.

Fender Custom Shop 60 Stratocaster 1997
