For customers residing in Japan
This is a vintage 1974 Ricken bass classic 4001.
This model wears the rare "Burgundyglo" color, with an impressive deep red wine-colored finish. It has acquired a unique texture over the years, giving it a presence that only an individual from that era could have.
The construction is classic with a rosewood fingerboard, maple through neck, and maple wing body, and the neck construction, which includes mahogany plies typical of early 70's Rickenbacker, produces a tight yet thick sound in the midrange.
This is a valuable piece, filled with the resonance of wood that has been played for many years and the timeless character of the 4001.
The original parts are included, although the pegs, jack, pots, and other parts have been replaced.
On the left side cutaway, there is a mark where a strap pin had been installed, but it has now been refilled. Overall, there are scratches, dents, and rust on the metal, showing signs of use.
The right side truss rod is fully tightened, but there are no noticeable abnormalities in the neck at this time, and it is in good playing condition.
Item Rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problems in normal use.
