The neck is made of heat-treated maple. The heat treatment provides shape stability, durability against warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
After several prototypes and verifications, we concluded that 20.5*22.5 (at1F*12F) was the best neck thickness.
The back of the neck is finished with a satin finish to ensure smooth playing comfort.
The fretboard is made of rosewood, which is known for its tenacious and mild mid-range sound.

The Air Norton pickup at the neck position delivers a clear and warm sound, the True Velvet at the middle position delivers a bright and low-noise sound, and the Tone Zone at the bridge position delivers a powerful sound with a well-balanced output from high to low frequencies. The GOTOH 510 bridge, which has an established reputation as the definitive tremolo bridge among many players and brands, has been revitalized through a collaboration between Ibanez and GOTOH.
The new bridge features a machined steel saddle and zinc die-cast inertia block for a tight sound with a good startup, as well as a good separation of sound in chord work.
