Rare Ovation mandolin!

This is an Ovation mandolin that was only produced for a short period of time, and is an eleco-type mandolin with an OP-24 preamp, and has a well-balanced sound that is typical of Ovation, whether it is played live or output on line.
Both the body and case have a slight smoke odor. Minor dings, light scratches, and paint clouding can be seen, but there is no noticeable damage. The neck is in fair condition. The neck is in fair condition and is not equipped with an adjustable rod. The frets are worn (dented), but there are no problems with playing.
The OP-24 preamplifier is well known, but there is a little galling due to its age. We have cleaned it, but have not been able to remove it completely. This is not a major problem in practical use. Also, the battery box cover inside the body is not attached smoothly, so we have left it removed (it is in the pocket of the case). All of these items are sold as-is (all electrical components are not covered by warranty).
The strings shipped from the manufacturer are Phosphor Bronze. Phosphor Bronze strings are still on the instrument, but they are a little older. We do not have the same type of strings in stock, so we will leave this as is.
Although it has some signs of use and deterioration over time, it is still a very attractive item. This item is recommended for situations where mandolins are used in pop music.

「貴重なオベーションのマンドリン！」

短期間にしか生産されなかったオベーションのマンドリンです。OP-24プリアンプが搭載されたエレアコ仕様で、生でもラインで出力してもオベーションらしいバランスの良い鳴りが特徴です。
本体、ケースともに、僅かですが煙草臭があります。小さな打痕、軽度な擦り傷、塗膜の曇りが確認できますが、目立つダメージはありません。ネックの状態は適正です。なおアジャスタブル・ロッドは装備されておりません。フレットには摩耗(凹み)箇所がありますが、現状演奏に支障はございません。
定評あるプリアンプOP-24ですが、経年により多少ガリが発生しております。クリーニングをいたしましたが、除去しきれておりません。実用上大きく問題のないレベルです。またボディ内の電池ボックスのカバーがスムーズに付かない状態のため、外したままにしております(ケースのポケットに入れてあります)。いずれも現状での販売とさせていただきます(電装系は全て保証対象外)。
なおメーカー出荷時の弦はフォスファー・ブロンズです。現在もフォスファー・ブロンズの弦が張られておりますが、多少古くなっております。当店に同タイプの弦の在庫品がないため、こちらも現状のままとさせていただきます。
使用感、経年の劣化はあるとは言え、まだまだ十分魅力的なアイテムです。ポップスでマンドリンを使用するようなシチュエーションにお勧めのアイテムです。
