USED MARTIN / D-18 1975 [03]

We have a used 1975 Martin D-18 in stock.
The spruce and mahogany body is characterized by its soft sound, but this one has a firm, solid, raw sound with a core.
The whole body vibrates well and the volume is very loud. It is not only a perfect match for fingerpicking, but also produces a sparkling sound when played with strokes.

The neck ironing has been corrected, the nut has been replaced, refretted, and the fingerboard has been corrected. There is no truss rod adjustment and it is a square rod. The pickguard has been replaced.
The bridge saddle is made of cow bone and has been replaced. The saddle has been shaved low but maintains proper tension.
String height at the 12th fret of the 6th string is approximately 2.3 mm, and at the 12th fret of the 1st string is approximately 2.0 mm. The bridge pins have been replaced with black plastic ones. There is a 6cm dented line on the lower part of the sound hole on the 6th string side.
There are scratches, numerous dents, and weather checks on the lacquer paint due to age. A strap pin has been added to the back of the neck heel. The end pins have been replaced with rosewood ones.
The guitar has been used and has an atmosphere that is typical of USA Martins.
A non-genuine hard case is included.
