The JPM100 is known as the early signature model of John Petrucci, guitarist of the progressive metal band "Dream Theater. It is also known by the nickname "Picasso Guitar" due to its unique artwork.

The JPM100 has several graphic patterns, but this one is the P1 (1995-1997) version. The pickup covers are color-coded, the same style as John's own model.

The body is American basswood, and the neck is maple with rosewood fingerboard. Original DiMarzio Air Norton (front) and Steve's Special (rear) pickups are equipped.
Controls are a 3-way selector and 1 volume/1 tone specification, and both pickups are split in the center position for a clear mixed sound output.

The pickups themselves remain direct-mounted, although the escutcheon has been retrofitted with additional screw holes.
Also, the control knobs have been replaced and the back panel is missing.

Overall, the guitar shows signs of use, with some larger dents, especially on the corners, but is in good playing condition.
