USED GIBSON USA / LesPaul Deluxe Gold Top 1971 [03]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1971 Gibson LesPaul Deluxe!
The serial number is 1970-72, but we have judged it as 1971 based on the overall specifications.

The Deluxe was first sold in 1969, a little after the LesPaul was re-produced, and has become more popular and rare every year due to its shorter production period compared to LesPauls with full-size humbuckers and the re-evaluation of the attractive tone that only a mini humbucker can give!

It has "MADE IN U.S.A." under the serial number, and the logo with i-dots in angular letters and specifications typical of this period, and the pancake body with maple sandwiched by mahogany, maple top, and 3-piece mahogany neck with volutes. The PU is original and has a sticker.

The PU is original, with two sticker-numbered mini-humbuckers.
Compared to full-size humbuckers, the tone is a little brighter and tighter, and it is easy to pick nuance and to get a good sound.
The double-ring escutcheon design is characteristic of the Deluxe from this period.
There is an additional sponge under the PU.
The resistance value is about 7.3k for the front and 7k for the rear. (Measurements are taken with pots, etc. passed through.)

The pots for the front volume and rear tone are soldered and could not be confirmed, but the front tone...1377040 and bridge volume...13770xx are confirmed to be made in 1970, and the other pots are also considered to be original. Other pots are also considered to be original.
The condenser is an original Black Beauty.

The pegs are the original "Gibson Deluxe" engraved Cruson pegs that were used from the late 69-70's. The bridge is a patent numbered bridge.
The bridge is equipped with a patent-numbered, non-wired ABR-1.

The frets and nut have been replaced, and there are Bigsby mounting marks on the body.
There are many scratches, dents, peeling paint, weather checks, etc., and it has a dignified Vintage look!

The frets and nut have been changed, so it is in good playing condition and has a great sound!
The value has been increasing year by year, and the number of the guitar is getting fewer and fewer.
