When it comes to the King of Electric Acoustic Guitars, many in the industry would probably say "Ovation" or "Adamas". The innovative shape and materials used. There is no doubt that they are truly one and only!

To put it bluntly, it is a guitar for different tastes. The Ovation model made a worldwide impact, captivating guitarists and singers alike, and was first released in prototype form in 1976, and then from 1977 to 1978.

Since its release, it has been discontinued, reissued, and reproduced, but it remains one of Ovation's most popular models. That is "Adamas. You may have seen many musicians using them in Japan.

Some of them have attracted so many collectors. The carvings on the head and bridge in particular have transcended the framework of the guitar and enhanced its presence.

The "Adamas" in stock this time is a black-colored "1681-5" 1994 full-body model with Adamas' original carbon graphite top, which is about one-third thinner than a wood top but still strong, and a deep-bowl body back made of Lilacord resin.

Schaller pegs, original fan bracing, and double epaulette soundhole. The preamplifier installed is the "OP24".

This "OP24" is a simple "Volume" and "3BAND EQ" preamp that has been installed for many years. (In the early days, it had only 2 knobs, Volume and Tone.) Later, the model change of the preamplifier was made around 1995, and it became a model with a tuner called "Optima", but many of them had tuner problems, and the popularity is still concentrated on the ones until around 1994.

The condition is very clean and has few signs of use, considering its age, and still meets the expectations of players and collectors.

There are some areas where the film on the body has peeled off, and the binding is scratched and peeling.
Still, if you look at the body and the overall appearance, I think it is in the beautiful category. The string height is low and easy to play. Please pick up the Adamas of your dreams.
