USED Makino Kobo / TUBE DRIVER 808-M SP [03]

This is a specially designed version of the Tube Driver 808-M, which is famous as the final form of overdrive, incorporating the fat sound of tube amps driven by the early TS-808 sound.

This is a special one-of-a-kind unit, as no two are painted the same due to the hand-painted design.

Based on the slightly darker sound of the TS808, the design focuses on the "magic" that happens when it is combined with a tube amp.

Mr. Makino assembled it by hand using RC4558 Malaysian chips and other carefully selected parts.

When you actually try it out, you will be amazed at the large sound image and the ease of adding nuance that only handmade products can provide.

It has a fat core with a full body, and even when the gain and tone are turned up, it does not sound rusty, but rather a superb overdrive sound that sticks out glossily.

It is the pinnacle of TS pedals, and can be used with a clean amp for crunch, by itself as the main distortion, or with the distortion of a tube amp such as a Marshall, etc. It will make the player feel comfortable playing.
