This guitar is one of the double-anniversary models produced from 1978, one year after the 25th anniversary of the Les Paul model and the 50th anniversary of Les Paul's musical career, who is also the creator of this model!
* We have determined that it was made in 1978 when it was first released based on the serial number, specifications, and pot date.

The maple top with distinctive flamed top, mahogany back body, 5-piece flamed maple neck, and ebony fingerboard are gorgeous specs.
The back of the neck has a two-layer walnut stripe, which is used on Gibson's higher-priced jazz guitars, as well as the volutes characteristic of this age.
The neck shape is a "Medium C Profile," which gives the impression of a comfortable grip in the hand.

The natural finish of the guitar has an elegant look with the flamed top and the back of the neck.
It features special Schaller-style pegs with Gibson gold pegs and Keystone silver knobs, and a Nashville bridge with a TP-6 fine-tuning tailpiece.
Other features include an elaborate pearl and Avalon "25/50" headstock inlay design, slash block inlays, Avalon side position marks, gold truss rod cover with "Les Paul Anniversary" engraving, and brass nut. The pickups are the original "Series VII" pickups.

Two original "Series VII (Tar-Back)" pickups are installed.
The number of windings is almost twice as many as PAF, so it is characterized by its high-power and sticky sound.
A mini-switch is equipped so that the single pickup sound can be played with the coil tap function.
The sound variation is quite wide, and the sound is very well thought out.

The pot dates are the original front VOL: 1377824 front TONE: 1377828 rear VOL: 1377824 rear TONE: 1377828, and all other electrical components are also in original condition.

There are some scratches and scuffs, dents and buckle marks on the body, and paint cracks on the side binding of the fingerboard.
Also, some parts such as pickup covers, pegs, and nuts are dull and scratched.
The guitar is in good condition for a guitar that is almost 50 years old, although it does have some signs of use.
The truss rod is in good condition and the frets are about 50% low, but there are no problems with playability.

It is one of the rare anniversary model guitars with many unique designs!
This is a limited edition model that is rarely seen in the market because it was bought up by collectors at the time, so please consider it as soon as possible!
