2012 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Pro Closet Classic Black is now in stock!
* This guitar is missing the certificate of authenticity, but we have determined that it was made in 2012 based on the signature on the back of the neck and other specifications.

Selected light swamp ash body, quarter-sawn maple neck, and round rosewood fingerboard.
The neck shape is a C-shape with a good thickness that reproduces the specifications of the early 60's. The fretboard radius is 9.5 mm.
The fingerboard radius is 9.5R, and 22 6150 frets are installed.
There is a mark on the center PU part of the body that looks like it has been dug down, and there is a burr on the bridge PU part that looks like a humbucker was mounted on it.

The body color is black.
Closet Classic" finish is applied to the whole body to reproduce the weather check and dullness of the parts, giving it an austere look.

Three "Abby Red Hot single-coil" pickups are installed.
Abigail Ibarra, who has produced many hand-wound pickups for more than 50 years since she joined the company in 1958 until she retired in 2013, worked on these pickups.
The wiring has been rewired and the wires extended, as it was probably once equipped with humbuckers.
The controls are 5-way master volume, front PU tone, center and rear tone.

The "Closet Classic" finish makes it difficult to tell, but there are some scuff marks and dings that may have been added later.
There are also signs of modification around the counterbore and wiring as mentioned above, but there are no problems in terms of playing.
The pickguard and inertia block have been replaced. The back panel is missing the screws, but the panel is still included.

The combination of the black color and the red tortoiseshell pickguard makes this guitar a cool one!
The modern specs make it a great playing instrument!
