This mandolin features an oval sound hole and scroll body reminiscent of Gibson's F-4. It is made in Asia, but as one would expect from a "Masterbuilt" mandolin, the top is solid spruce and the sides and back are solid maple. The simple design, tortoiseshell binding, and low gloss finish give the mandolin an austere atmosphere. An Eastman soft case is included.

There are almost no scratches. The neck is in fair condition and there is plenty of truss-rod room. There is more than 90% fret height remaining. Playability and sound are perfect.
Although it is an oval hole mandolin, the core of the sound is thick, and it sounds similar to an f-hole mandolin. This is a mandolin with specifications and sound sufficient for practice and Americana taste. This item is currently not in circulation. Don't miss it!
