USED GIBSON / 1970s HUMMINGBIRD [03]

A vintage 1970s Hummingbird is now in stock.
Based on the serial number and specifications, we believe it was manufactured between 1970 and 1973.
This guitar is a perfect accompaniment for singing, single-note playing, and solo playing, and it shows its presence and dignity without regret. It has a bright, yet soft and graceful bright tone reminiscent of a deep, boxy sound. The rich overtones characteristic of the Hummingbird are mellow and expansive, producing a sophisticated, high-end sound.

The neck is in a high raised position, and the entire instrument has been over-lacquered. There are dents, scratches, and cloudy paint throughout.
The bridge has been thinned and the saddle has been lowered; the saddle on the first string is particularly low, causing chatter on the high strings at the open and low frets.
The bridge pins have been replaced with wooden ones. The frets are low, about 70%.
The string height is about 2.6mm at the 12th fret of the 6th string and about 2.1mm at the 12th fret of the 1st string.
The truss rod has about 60 degrees of clearance.
