We have received a used 2025 USA-made J-45 Special.
Although it is an affordable model with a satin finish, it delivers the powerful, crisp sound characteristic of the J-45.
It also features a piezo pickup, making it a versatile and attractive guitar.

The body is all-solid, featuring a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back—the classic J-45 specifications.
The neck is made of European spruce and features a slim taper profile.
The satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and the glue-in dovetail neck joint are familiar features.

There are signs of wear, including discoloration of the satin finish, tarnishing of metal parts, and minor dents.
The back of the neck has areas where the finish has developed a sheen from use.
The string action is approximately 2.2 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string, which is in good condition. The saddle has sufficient height, and the pickups function normally.
While there are some dents and scratches typical of a used instrument, both playability and sound are excellent, making this a highly recommended purchase.
It comes with a genuine Gibson gig bag.
