USED GIBSON USA / Les Paul Standard Reissue Gold Top 1984 [03]

We’ve just received a 1984 Gibson Les Paul Standard Reissue Gold Top, as indicated by its serial number and pot date!

It features classic specifications, including a mahogany body with a dark back, a maple top, a one-piece mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

The neck features a slightly thinner C-shaped profile, offering exceptional playability.

The gold finish on the top has developed a wonderful patina over time.

Weighing in at 3.965 kg, it’s lightweight and exceptionally easy to handle.

It is equipped with two "Tim Show PAF" pickups.
The pickup stamps show "372784" on the front (manufactured in 1984) and "373883" on the rear (manufactured in 1983).
It has a clear, easy-to-handle tone that doesn’t get buried even when distorted.

The resistance values are 7.34 kΩ for the front and 7.41 kΩ for the rear.

Although there are signs of solder repairs, all pots are from 1984, as indicated by their dates.

While there are some scratches, dents, paint chips, and cracks in the jack plate, there is no critical damage, and considering its age, this is a guitar that has been kept in excellent condition!
