USED Adamas / 1881-NB2 [03]

We have a used 1995 Ovation ADAMAS 1881-NB2 in stock.
This is one of Ovation's top models.

The top is made of carbon fiber, and the sound is a unique Ovation sound that combines rise and richness.
It has a round bowl back with a deep bowl and a cutaway for easy playing of the high frets.

The position markings have a unique design that blends in with the fingerboard and neck wood.
The preamp is an Optima with 4-band EQ for treble, mid 1, mid 2, and bass.

You will enjoy the responsive sound of an American-made instrument, which is different from the current Asian-made instruments.

The truss rod is tight and will not turn any further.
The top board has a very slight bulge under the bridge, which does not affect the playing.
The string height is about 2.5mm at the 12th fret of the 6th string and about 2.0mm at the 12th fret of the 1st string. The fingerboard shows discoloration from use. There are scratches on the head and body, but they do not affect the playing.
The metal parts show tarnishing and dulling of the plating due to age, but this does not affect the playing.
Only the tuners on the preamp do not respond and do not function, but the preamp output functions normally.
There is a gap next to the saddle with a small piece of wood glued to fill it. There is one non-genuine wooden shim under the saddle.

This is an older USA-made guitar, so there are some scratches, but it is in ready-to-play condition.
B+: Dings, scratches, and dull metal parts, commensurate with the age of the guitar. There are dents on the head. There are scratches on the body.
Neck: In fair condition. There is room for tightening/loosening.
Fretboard: The frets are in good condition. 80% remaining.
Repair and replacement parts: Neck ironed and adjusted.
Remarks: Tuner is defective, preamp is fine.
