1976 Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst in mint condition!

Body top is 3-piece maple
Back is made of mahogany, maple and mahogany pancake construction.

Neck is 3-piece maple with volutes on the head and neck.
Serial number is "00" 1976, from the decal period used from 1975 to 1977.
Large head with "Standard" truss rod cover.
The truss rod can be adjusted in both directions.
Original frets and nut.

The red color of the top finish and the thickness of the sunburst on the rim are still intact.

Control assembly is missing aluminum case.

Pickups: 2 humbuckers with stamped numbered Tim Shaw (stamped)
Knobs are gold metal top hats
Bridge is Nashville, Tailpiece is die-cast
Jack plate is metal plate, but this one is 1-ply cream (with 2 cracked corners).
The peg tuners are the original Gibson pegs by Schaller.
The pegs are chrome-plated keystones, but these are also equipped with Crewson 2Line "Gibson Deluxe" 2-ring pegs, which were used until late '75.
There is no evidence that either has been replaced.

Although it is about 50 years old, it is in good condition.
There are some scratches and dents on the top and back of the body, but it is very rare to find such a beautiful instrument.
