1968年製 Fender JAZZ BASS Sunburst が入荷致しました！
「Jumpin' Jack Flash」「(Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay」「Everyday People」等がリリースされた1968年。音楽の変化とともに楽器業界にも変化が起こりFenderではCBS社傘下にてロゴデザインの変更やアンプではシルバーフェイス期へと移行します。
アルダーボディにメイプルネック、ローズウッド指板のウッドマテリアル。
ヘッドには1968年頃に変更された黒字金縁PAT.ナンバーの入った通称”CBSロゴ”が採用され、剥がれ防止の為ヘッド全体にオーバーコートが吹かれております。チューナーは以前のパドルペグから68年中頃にフェンダーオリジナルデザインの順巻きクローバーを搭載。
1966年以降の仕様を引き継いだ、ラウンド貼りのバウンドネックにはパーロイドブロックポジションマークが施されており、ボディの1弦側カッタウェイにはコブがまだ残っております。
ハードウェアにはクロームを使用し、Fenderチューナーの他にはピックアップフェンスやコントロールパネル、「F」刻印とシリアルナンバーの入ったジャックプレートを使用。ブリッジはスチール製でスパイラルブリッジを使用。
ピックガードは塩化ビニール製の4-Ply べっ甲、全面にアルミプレートが挟まれシールディング処理がされております。
ピックアップにはコットン被膜のグレーボビンを搭載しておりますが、クッションが固着し、ピックアップデイトが読めない状態でございます。
ポットデイトは「304-6631」「304-6631」「304-6631」となりコンデンサーは0.02MFDのセラミック、ハンダもバージンであるためアッセンブリーはオリジナルである可能性が高いです。
良いコンディションを保っており、フレットナットはオリジナルでフレット残量は約6割ほど、トラスロッドは締め緩め共に60度回ることを確認しております。
サンバーストに色味もしっかりと残っており、ウェザーチェックや擦れ、打痕などこざいますがコンディションには問題ございません。

Fender JAZZ BASS Sunburst made in 1968 is now in stock!
Jumpin' Jack Flash", "(Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay" and "Everyday People" were released in 1968. The musical instrument industry was changing along with the change of music, and Fender changed its logo design under the umbrella of CBS.
Alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The head has the "CBS logo" with a black gold-rimmed PAT. number, which was changed around 1968, and the entire head has been overcoated to prevent peeling. The tuners were changed from paddle pegs to Fender's original design of progressive clover tuners in mid-1968.
The round pasted bound neck, inherited from 1966 and later specifications, has pearloid block position marks, and the bump is still present on the body's first string cutaway.
Hardware is chrome, with Fender tuners as well as pickup fences, control panel, and jack plate with "F" engraving and serial number. The bridge is made of steel and uses a spiral bridge.
The pickguard is PVC 4-Ply tortoiseshell with an aluminum plate sandwiched between the entire surface and sealed.
The pickups are equipped with cotton coated gray bobbins, but the cushions are sticking and the pickup dates are unreadable.
The pot dates are "304-6631", "304-6631", and "304-6631". The condenser is 0.02 MFD ceramic and the solder is virgin, so the assembly is most likely original.
The fret nut is original, with about 60% of frets remaining, and the truss rod is confirmed to turn 60 degrees both tightened and loosened.
The sunburst color is still there, and there are some weather checks, scuffs, and dings, but there are no problems with the condition.
