Gibson Flying V '84 Refinish White Mod is now in stock.

The Flying V was designed for metal players at the peak of the heavy metal era.
The original Flying V did not have a pickguard, and the controls were mounted directly on the body, and the pickups were Gibson's high-output Dirty Fingers pickups.

This model is a modified version of the Designer Series Fyling V. The body is made of alder, rosewood, and rosewood fingerboard.
The body is made of alder and rosewood fretboard.
The head is equipped with a rotomatic type with the original "Gibson" logo.
The nut is the same material as the original, but it has been refinished with new paint, so we cannot confirm that it is the original.
The frets have been replaced with Evolution frets, judging from the color and the amount of frets remaining considering the age of the instrument.

The body has a cavity zagged like the '67 Flying V. The pickups have been replaced, and the DC resistance has been replaced.
The pickups have been replaced with DC resistance front: 7.82kΩ / rear: 7.66kΩ.
The pot dates were all soldered on and could not be read, but the solder was discolored over time, so it is likely that they were replaced early on.

The Nashville-type Tune-o-Matic bridge and chrome parts on the stop bar are original.

The finish seems to have been refinished when it was zagged, and the serial number engraving on the head is difficult to read. We have determined from the serial number that it was made in 1984.

It comes with a non-original Gibson brown case.
