ボンゴ・シリーズに、アーニーボール・ミュージックマンで初となる6弦ベース“BONGO6”が誕生しました。
その個性的なシェイプはBMW USAのデザインチームによってデザインされています。
スケールは34”(864mm)で、弦ピッチはスティングレイ5と同様の17.5mmピッチとなっており、スレンダーなネック・グリップと相まって、とても弾きやすい6弦ベースとなっています。
4弦のボンゴと同様の18ボルト仕様のプリアンプ、4バンド・イコライザー、さらに、ネオジム・マグネットを採用したオリジナル・ ピックアップを組み合わせることで、力強くフレキシブルなトーンを特長とし、HH、HSのラインナップがあります。ドリームシアターのジョン・マイヤングが、最新のステージでボンゴ6を使用し、そのサウンドと性能、そして、そのプレイアビリティの高さを証明しています。

The Bongo Series welcomes the “BONGO6,” Ernie Ball Music Man’s first-ever 6-string bass.
Its distinctive shape was designed by the BMW USA design team.
With a 34" (864mm) scale length and a 17.5mm string spacing—the same as the Stingray 5—combined with a slender neck profile, this 6-string bass is exceptionally comfortable to play.
Featuring an 18-volt preamp—the same as the 4-string Bongo—a 4-band equalizer, and original pickups with neodymium magnets, it delivers a powerful yet flexible tone and is available in HH and HS configurations.
