USED MARTIN / CTM D-45 Maple White [05]

We have just received a beautiful "Martin CTM D-45 Maple White" with a high-class feel.

This is a "Custom Order" D-45 made at the Martin factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, USA.

The Martin Custom Shop employs a small number of elite and highly skilled craftsmen.
The D-45 is made of carefully selected woods, and is a limited edition model, or a one-off model that responds to custom orders from dealers all over the world.

This model was completed after careful meetings with the import agent at our Ishibashi Gakki Shibuya store. It has arrived in almost unused condition. * There are a few scratches and dings.

The base style is Martin's top-of-the-line "D-45".
Premium grade "Martin's highest quality" Sitka spruce for the top.
Plain maple sides and back. Plain maple with a beautiful flame visible through the soundhole.

The sides and back of a regular D-45 are made of East Indian rosewood, but plain maple was selected on a dare.
The neck is Genuine Mahogany. The fingerboard & bridge are black ebony, and the head plate is plain maple.

The "D-45" is the most complete and unrivaled Martin instrument, but the staff in charge of this guitar has carefully considered the specifications, and the result is a beautiful and elegant "white" finish.

The binding of the body is not the usual antique white, but European flame maple, and Avalon is used to sand the top wood.
The pickguard is grained ivoroid, and here too, the face of the gorgeous top is made with Avalon on the edges.
The body back is the same European flame maple as the top, also with Avalon.

Around the neck, the black fingerboard position markings are inlaid with Hexagon inlays, the hallmark of the "D-45," and the fingerboard sides are also in antique white.
The sides of the fingerboard are also made of European flame maple instead of antique white.

The headstock is a matching head in white like the body, and the side binding is also made of European flame maple, as is the neck. The head plate is maple, but boldly painted over, and torch inlays were selected in Avalon. The pegs are vintage Grover gold.

The sound is made of about 70% maple wood, which gives it a "lightness" from the first note.
However, this one has a gentle fingerstyle sound from the beginning, and a refreshing sound on strokes. The sound of each note is clear, delicate, and lustrous.

The CTM D-45 Maple is beautifully finished, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is a true masterpiece.
This is a custom made by Custom Shop and ordered by Ishibashi Musical Instruments, and you will not be able to find one of the best in the world.

* The handle of the genuine case is broken.
