USED Gibson Memphis / Limited Run ES-355 Bigsby VOS Classic White 2016 [05]

This is a Gibson Memphis 2016 Limited Edition ES-355 Bigsby Rare Color in Classic White with VOS finish.

The ES-355 is a higher-end model of the ES-335 and is the equivalent of the Les Paul Custom to the Les Paul Standard.

The ES-335 is a laminated maple body model introduced by Gibson around 1958, and is characterized by its semi-hollow construction with a center block. The center block increases the strength of the body and reduces feedback and unwanted feedback, resulting in a clear, persistent sound with a full, acoustic tone.

The ES-355 is based on Gibson's traditional archtop technology, and was designed with a great deal of expertise in the development of solid electric guitars, such as the Les Paul.

The ES-355 is a gorgeous guitar with block position markers, split inlays, gold hardware, and multiple bindings, making it a very popular model among guitarists of all genres.

The neck shape is a traditional C shape, neither too thick nor too thin, making it suitable for any player. The rolled neck binding provides a smooth and comfortable grip. The fingerboard is made of "Richlite," a new material with excellent acoustic properties that has been in production for a long time due to the depletion of ebony wood. The truss rod is made of tubeless historic tapered tubing, which increases neck rigidity and provides a rich neck sound. The pickups are 57 Classics, which work well with the semi-acoustic body.

There are some paint cracks due to thinning of the binding and wood, but it does not show much signs of use and is in relatively clean condition. Of course, the playing condition is good, including the truss rod.
