Sadowsky is the perfection of active JB style.
This is a used 5-string bass made in NYC.

Soap bar PU with 5 strings and 24 frets, so called 5-24 style.
The pickup position offset to the rear side produces a unique low end and punchy sound.

Beautiful Mastergrade Buckeye burl top.
Combined with 59Burst gradation, it looks very cool.
Back is Alder (chambered) and fingerboard is Ebony.
Black parts give a tight and very cool impression.

The back of the head has a special logo to commemorate Sadowsky's 40th anniversary.
Since it is the 40th, it is thought to have been manufactured around 2020.

Weight is 3.78kg.
There are some minor dents on the tip of the head and near the end of the body, but overall the condition is in keeping with its appearance.
The frets are slightly dented, but this does not affect the chatter.
There are no problems with the truss rod or other playability issues.

The sound that comes out when connected to an amp is unmistakable.
NYC is now very hard to find in Japan.
Please give it a try.
