The Player II Modified Telecaster was designed with the modern player in mind.

The modern "C" neck shape, silky satin urethane finish on the neck back, 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard, smooth rolled-off fingerboard edges, 22 medium jumbo frets, and all the details poured into the neck make this a fast-flowing Telecaster. The details support fast, flowing playability.

The alder body features Fender's signature punchy tone and a new color finish.

The Player II Noiseless pickups produce the classic Telecaster twang tone with bite while suppressing unwanted noise, and the push/pull switch function on the tone control switches the pickup arrangement from parallel to serial mode, The push/pull switch function on the tone control switches the pickup arrangement from parallel to serial mode for a thicker sound.

The 6-saddle bridge, short post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string tree provide incredible tuning stability.

There are no signs of use at all, and the instrument has probably never been used.
