USED FENDER / 1974 JAZZ BASS SB/R [05]

A 1974 Jazz Bass in near-mint condition has just arrived! This was the final year of the 4-bolt design; only the bridge screw for the 1st string is longer, and the fingerrest was repositioned toward the 4th string. While these are minor details, examining them one by one reveals this to be a very interesting model year.
The ash body features a striking red sunburst finish, and with no signs of deterioration on the body’s paintwork, this is a very beautiful specimen. The nut has been replaced with one that’s been soaked in oil and thoroughly polished.
The 70s-location bridge pickup, combined with the ash body, delivers a dry and sensitive tone. It feels as though the sound is being output directly from the amp as you play, allowing the player’s individuality to shine through—truly the essence of vintage.
All three potentiometers are dated 7343, and all solder joints remain in their original condition. It comes with the original brownish finger rest, pickup fence, and bridge cover.
