A used 58 reissue with gorgeous hand-selected top wood is now in stock!
Historic Select is a series of reissues based on the highly regarded True Historic specifications, with the selection of top wood and color ordered by the customer.
This model is also a '58 spec, which usually uses plain top, but flame maple with a very deep grain was used for the top material, and flecks can be seen, giving it an outstanding vintage atmosphere.
The basic specifications are similar to those of True Historic guitars, with double carving for a realistic arch shape on the top, hide glue on various parts of the wood, and True Historic parts for the plastic parts.
Custom Bucker PU is installed, and combined with the tubeless truss rod and long studded tailpiece, it produces a very crisp vintage sound with a very strong core.
The original Vintage Gloss finish has some paint chips and dings.
There are some minor dents and paint chips on the front and back of the body and the back of the neck, buckle marks on the back of the body, chips on the edge of the head, scratches on the head top, and the aniline dye on the mahogany parts has faded, especially on the body sides. Although the instrument has some external signs of use, it has been cleaned, strings have been replaced, rods have been adjusted, octave has been adjusted, string height has been adjusted, and frets have been adjusted, and is in good playing condition.
