The SG800 is a variation of the legendary SG—a model that has reigned in Yamaha’s lineup as an original model to this day and is cherished by countless guitarists.
While keeping the ornamentation simple to achieve an affordable price, it features authentic specifications including a bypass switch, faithfully inheriting the SG’s signature fat and bright sound.
The pickguard is missing, and the screw holes remain open. A characteristic clouding is visible throughout the instrument; the top appears to have a faint clouding, followed by the back of the body, which shows slightly more pronounced clouding, while the back of the neck and the sides of the body appear to be the most heavily clouded.Additionally, there are numerous scratches and dents, including on the headstock and the back of the neck. In particular, the edges of the body sides show significant damage, with some dents exposing the wood. Overall, this is a heavily used instrument, but it has been fully adjusted and is in a condition where you can play it with confidence.
