Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB75-80.
Featuring an ash body, a one-piece maple neck, a fingerboard with block inlays and binding, a three-point bolt-on neck joint, and a bullet truss rod nut, this model recreates the specifications from the period immediately after Fender was acquired by CBS.
The clear bass response and crisp sound produced by the heavy ash body and maple neck are unique to this configuration.

Modifications include a replaced nut, Duncan pickups, and a circuit modification where pulling up the tone knob switches the signal to series.
In addition to noticeable playing scratches on the pickguard, there is paint chipping around the inlays on the 3rd to 12th frets, as well as on the body sides and end. There are also scratches on the elbow cut, and numerous fine dents and scuffs on the body.
There are scratches on the back of the neck and sun-faded sticker residue on the back of the headstock.
It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival.
