An ambitious work by Martin, a long-established company that is also involved in forest protection activities!

Martin is also famous for its forest protection activities, and as a part of such activities, the Sustainable Wood Series guitars are made of wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

Made in Nazareth, USA
All solid dreadnought body with spruce top and cherry side/back.
Top color is Aging Toner with non-scalloped X bracing.
Only the Body Top has a gloss finish, and the rest have a satin finish.
Cherry neck with 42.5mm nut width, 25.4" long scale, and cataloque fingerboard.
It is equipped with Gold pegs, and the truss rod still has room to operate, with about 70% of the frets remaining.
There is a 5mm ding on the back of the Neck (around the 5th fret).
There are some bumps on the body binding and back center strip due to the expansion and contraction of the wood from the environment.
There are some minor scratches and dents on the top of the body.
Overall, the guitar looks clean and has no playability issues.

It has a slightly harder impression than mahogany, with a rich mid tone and a pleasant sustain.
Product rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problems in normal use.

マーティンは森林保護活動でも有名で、その一環で森林管理協議会(FSC)の認定を受けた木材でギターを製作したサスティナブル・ウッドシリーズ。

USA、ナザレス工場製
オールソリッドのドレッドノートボディは、Topにスプルース、Side/Backにチェリーを使用。
TopカラーはAging Tonerが施され、ノンスキャロップドXブレーシングを採用。
Body Topのみグロスフィニッシュで、他はサテンフィニッシュです。
約42.5mmナット幅、25.4"ロングスケールのチェリーNeckにはカタロックス指板を貼っています。
ペグはGoldペグを装備し、トラスロッドはまだ稼働余裕があり、フレットも7割ほど残っています。
Neck裏(5フレットあたり)に5mmほどの打痕がございます。
環境による木の伸縮で、ボディのバインディングやバックセンターストリップなどに段差がございます。
Body Topには細かな引っかき傷・打痕などがございます。
全体的にはきれいな印象で、プレイアビリティも問題ありません。

マホガニーよりもやや硬質な印象で、ミッドが豊かなサウンドでサスティーンも心地よく響いてくれます。
