USED YAMAHA / SG1500 PR Persimmon Red [4.35kg / 1982]

This is a Yamaha SG-1500 with non-pickguard design and through-neck construction, made in 1982.

This SG1500 features a bi-sound system (coil tap) in the vein of the famous SG2000 introduced in 1976. maple top/mahogany back, maple/mahogany neck, rose fretboard, 2 semi-open humbuckers (SG 57 4 20), and a Tone knob Push-. Push is a coil tap (bi-sound) for each PU.

This Yamaha SG series guitar is characterized by its sweet, glossy, tight and long sustain, and is still in player's condition.

There are some signs of use (color fading, white spots around the head and body, scratches and scuffs around the perimeter, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, ring marks on the back of the neck, some cracks on the back panel, cracks and glue marks on the PU escutcheon, faded, cloudy, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages). The instrument has been set up (cleaned and polished) when it arrived.

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment) upon arrival. The fret board is high enough to play well, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60 degrees, and the operation has been checked and is in good condition.
