1970年代の末から1980年代の初頭にかけて生産された、ジルジャンカナダ工場製のKシンバルです。
カナダ工場は後々のセイビアンブランドであり、この時期の製品にもその特徴が色濃く感じることができます。
それまでのトルコ工場時代よりもやや厚めでフラットな形状、ハンマーの痕跡も細く深い為、厚みがあるつつもピッチが低く、音色的にはやや硬質ながらもウォームで豊かな倍音をもち、フルバンドでも埋もれない芯の強さが感じられるのがこの時代の特徴です。
18インチでクラッシュライドの要素が色濃い個体
ピッチも低く、極めてダーク。エッジも薄目なのでクラッシュしやすく、非常にリッチで豊かな倍音が広がり、カナダKらしい深みのあるクラッシュ音
年式相応のくすみ、テープ痕、僅かな歪みは有るものの、ホール、エッジ共にダメージなく
ヴィンテージシンバルとしては問題ないコンディション。
鳴りも良く、Kらしい唯一無二の豊かなサウンドがお楽しみ頂ける個体です。

These K cymbals were produced from the end of the 1970s to the beginning of the 1980s and were made by the Giljan Canada factory.
The Canadian factory was later to become the Sabian brand, and its characteristics can be strongly felt in the products from this period.
The shape is slightly thicker and flatter than those made at the Turkish factory, and the hammer marks are narrower and deeper, making the cymbals thicker but with a lower pitch.
An 18-inch piece with a strong element of crash-ride.
The pitch is low and extremely dark. The edges are thin, so it is easy to crash, and the rich and abundant overtones spread out, giving it a deep crash sound that is typical of Canadian K.
There are some scratches, tape marks, and slight distortions commensurate with its age, but there is no damage to the holes or edges.
No damage to the holes or edges, and in good condition for a vintage cymbal.
The sound is good and you can enjoy the unique and rich sound that is typical of K.
