代表機種4001の後継機として1979年にリリース、現在に至るまで頑なにハンドメイドで生産され続けているリッケンバッカーのModel 4003です。
スルーネック構造にハイゲインピックアップを搭載し、4001スタイルのヴィンテージサウンドを再現するローパス・フィルターSW(Treble Tone Pull)を採用、シャーラーロックピン対応ストラップピン、個性的なピックガードやポジションマークを採用したルックスは、まさにブリティッシュロックを感じさせます。
長い歴史の中で数多くの著名なアーティストに使用され、支持され続けてきたリッケンバッカー、ピック弾きでのキレの良いサウンド、指引きによるふくよかなトーンのどちらも魅力的な1本です。
若干の使用感(スレや弾きスジ)は見られるものの状態良好です。
入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは左右60°度まで確認済みにて問題ない状態です。

The Rickenbacker Model 4003 was released in 1979 as the successor to the flagship model 4001, and has been stubbornly handmade and produced to this day.
It has a through-neck construction with high-gain pickups, a low-pass filter SW (Treble Tone Pull) that reproduces the vintage sound of the 4001 style, Schaller lock pin compatible strap pins, and unique pickguard and position marks. The unique pickguard and position markings give the guitar a very British rock feel.
The Rickenbacker has been used and supported by many famous artists throughout its long history, and this guitar has a crisp sound when played with a pick, and a full tone when finger-pulled.
It is in good condition with a few signs of use (scratches and play marks).
It has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival. The fret board is high enough to play well, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right.
