「イバニーズ」期の1984年製アクティブ・スルーネック・モデル、アイバニーズのMUSICIAN BASS MC924です。
ポリス初期スティングの使用していたフレットレス(MC940)で知名度の高いIbanez MUSICIAN BASS(MC)。カタログスペックではアッシュ(セン)・ボディウイング(SEN)、メイプル・スルーネック、エボニー指板、Super P5＆J5ピックアップ、3バンドEQ、アクティブ/パッシブ切り替えを備えています。
脱落防止のウイング形ストラップピンや「MUSICIAN」刻印のロッドカバーといった当時の雰囲気あるスペックを盛り込んだ一本です。
使用感(スレや弾きスジ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ・サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。
入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ)済み、フレット山はすり合わせにより低めながら演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは左右60°度まで確認済みにて問題ない状態(締め気味)です。

This is an Ibanez MUSICIAN BASS MC924, a 1984 active thru-neck model from the "Ibanez" period.
Ibanez MUSICIAN BASS (MC) is well known for its fretless (MC940) used by Sting in the early days of Police. Catalog specs include ash (SEN) body wing, maple through neck, ebony fingerboard, Super P5 & J5 pickups, 3-band EQ, and active/passive switching.
It incorporates atmospheric specs of the time, such as a wing-shaped strap pin to prevent it from falling off and a rod cover engraved with "MUSICIAN".
There are some signs of use (scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).
The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is low enough to play well.
