USED Ovation / 1778TX-5 Black Textured (PRO Series) Ovation Electro-Acoustic Acoustic Guitar [08]

A guitar that really showcases its black textured finish!

The top of the mid-depth Rilacord body features AA solid Sitka spruce.
The top features scalloped X-bracing and a single soundhole on one side.
The maple neck (V-shape style) has a nut width of approximately 42.5 mm and a 25.3" long scale, and is fitted with a Perfero fingerboard accented with black binding.
It is equipped with an OP-PRO preamp, which features a tuner and a 3-band EQ.
All-matte finish.
Made in China

Upon arrival, the guitar was cleaned, the strings were replaced, and the truss rod and string height were adjusted, and the frets were leveled.
The truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no issues, and the frets still have plenty of height remaining.
There is a slight chip near the back panel mounting screw.
The preamp slider feels slightly stiff in places, but it functions properly.
Although there are some minor scratches and dents, it shows little wear and has excellent playability.

It has a solid, full-bodied sound characteristic of Ovation!
